Royal Enfield has announced a new international riding programme titled the Moroccan Odyssey 2026, a 12-day expedition scheduled to run from March 27 to April 4, 2026, covering close to 2,000 kilometres across Morocco .
According to the company, the route will begin in Marrakech and climb through the High Atlas mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass before continuing to Ouarzazate and the Erg Chebbi dunes near Merzouga in the Sahara . Riders will then head north through the Middle Atlas region and the city of Fes, travel onward to Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains, and finally conclude the journey in Rabat along Morocco’s Atlantic coastline .
Royal Enfield has positioned the Moroccan Odyssey as a global extension of its long-running marquee riding initiatives, including Himalayan Odyssey and One Ride, and has linked the 2026 expedition to its planned celebrations marking 125 years of the brand’s existence .
Motorcycles to Be Used During the Expedition
Himalayan 450 Chosen for the Route
Royal Enfield confirmed that all participants in the Moroccan Odyssey 2026 will ride the Himalayan 450 throughout the journey .
The adventure motorcycle will be deployed across a wide variety of terrain featured on the route, ranging from high-altitude mountain passes in the Atlas ranges to desert sections in the Sahara, forested plateaus in central Morocco and the final coastal stretch near Rabat .
