JAWA has introduced the 2024 version of its popular JAWA 42, now featuring significant mechanical updates and subtle cosmetic changes. With a price reduction of ₹15,000, the JAWA 42 is now available at an ex-showroom price starting from ₹1.73 lakh, going up to ₹1.98 lakh for the base variant.
Enhanced Design and Features
The JAWA 42 maintains its classic design but with some fresh updates. A new seat and a digital cluster have been added, enhancing both comfort and functionality. The most notable upgrade is the new “J Panther” engine, a 294.72 cc unit that now produces 26.9 bhp and 26.8 Nm of torque. This engine, along with the overhauled gearbox, offers improved airflow and refined gear mapping, similar to what’s seen on the new Yezdi Adventure.
The bike also features a new spoked wheel variant with single-channel ABS. Additionally, a digital speedometer and USB charging port have been included in this latest version, adding to the convenience of modern riders.
New Variants and Safety Features
The 2024 JAWA 42 is available in multiple variants, catering to different rider preferences. These variants offer options between single-channel and dual-channel ABS, as well as the choice of spoke or alloy wheels. For added safety, the bike is equipped with dual-channel ABS as standard in select variants.
The difference between single-channel and dual-channel ABS is crucial for safety. While single-channel ABS only controls the front wheel, dual-channel ABS provides anti-lock braking support to both the front and rear wheels, ensuring better control on various surfaces.

These colors are available in both matte and gloss finishes, giving riders the freedom to choose a look that best suits their style.
Availability and Expansion Plans
The 2024 JAWA 42 will be available across over 400 dealerships nationwide, with plans to expand to more than 600 outlets by the end of the year. This expansion reflects JAWA’s commitment to reaching a broader audience and enhancing the customer experience.
